Holy Cross College, Ryde – Reimagining Education
Holy Cross College is a safe and inclusive community providing an education for all. Our students receive a well-rounded education that emphasises academic achievement whilst providing a wide range of faith-based, cultural, creative and sporting opportunities.
The Holy Cross College learning framework underpins the school’s pedagogical approach. The staff are committed to building the learning confidence of all students. When this is established, expectations are raised and appropriate challenges are given to continue to ensure that the students experience growth in their learning. Central to these pillars is the effective use of feedback to inform students of how to improve further, which shapes teachers’ practice.
For every learning experience, learning intentions are stated to provide a sense of direction in students’ learning. Success criteria are also provided so that students can assess how well they have performed.
Every student receives a quality education. Holy Cross College is constantly changing to meet the learning needs of the students so that they can become young Patrician men who contribute to the further development of our communities.
