Genazzano focuses on providing a diverse and innovative education, relative to students now and for their future. Genazzano’s bespoke programs reflect student interest, nurture aspirations and ignite creativity, taking learners beyond the conventional classroom and curriculum. The Genazzano Institute has developed an exciting Microcredential Program where students can undertake a range of courses to develop personal competencies and professional skills

Included are the ‘Future Skills’ programs, which focus on the development of complex competencies and capabilities that enrich students’ capacity for adaptability, interaction, personal growth and tenacity. An example is ‘The Edge’, a physical challenge cohort subject promoting resilience, confidence, teamwork and leadership. Another flagship program is ‘NextGEN’ that targets practical learning through digital work readiness courses and enterprise programs. NextGEN links with the College’s microcredential program and recognises a range of learning experiences.

Genazzano also offers extension and professional learning opportunities ‘beyond’ the school curriculum. These typically have a practical experience, folio or mini-internship component. Students can design their own personalised and flexible program aligned with their interests, ambitions and individual circumstances. Known as ‘Studio Beyond’, this initiative revolves around four Centres of Excellence: Global Enterprises, Innovation and Technology, Sports Development and Creative industries.
