Genazzano FCJ College, Kew VIC – Champions of Change
We are an inclusive community that celebrates diversity and delivers a balanced approach to learning and growth, from ELC right through to Year 12. Our tailored pedagogy recognises and embraces different thinking and learning and equips students with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the global world we live in.
We confidently innovate and adapt to a changing world by allowing students to grow academically and personally. This holistic approach enables students to develop into resilient, adaptable and agile thinkers, who have a global mindset and caring, inquiry-based approach to learning that contributes to society. We engage with others with a positive and loving attitude, serving a higher purpose through our Catholic faith and social justice programs that take action to benefit society and people in need. We apply distinctive learning approaches based on cross disciplinary, student-centred thinking and a commitment to excellence. Our transformational learning experiences focus on soft skill acquisition not just content; and our high performance culture promotes independence, self-belief and professional practice across the entire school.
An award winning school, Genazzano has been recognised as an Innovative School by The Educator in 2019 and 2020, for the work of the Genazzano Institute of Learning & Brain Sciences. The Institute has established a position at the forefront of utilising neuroscientific research in school education to improve learning and teaching. The aim is to provide exceptional student and staff learning experiences by working with key partners to leverage advancements in the fields of neuroscience, education, psychology, environmental design, health and information technology.
