Emmaus College VIC – Reimagining Education
E mmaus College offers an extensive range of subjects covering all learning areas of the Victorian Curriculum. Students in Years 7 and 8 undertake the breadth of studies while our bespoke Year 9 curriculum combines experiential learning with academic rigour. Year 10 students can pursue their interests in specialist subjects as well as select from a range of VCE options. At Years 11-12, VCE, VET and Vocational pathways are available. The new Creative Industries Centre will inspire learning in the areas of Music and Media. This Learning Centre will also provide the College with a third theatre and performance area.
A wide range of co-curricular activities include performing arts, sport, music, outdoor education, debating, Tournament of Minds, and subject association competitions. In addition, there are interstate and overseas trips to Central Australia, Italy, USA, and a European experience. Exchange programs operate with sister schools in Italy, Germany and Indonesia. Various lunchtime and after school activities are also available. The College is a member of the Eastern Independent Schools Melbourne (EISM) for interschool sports competitions.
