Delany College NSW – Change Makers

At Delany College, we aim to transform the lives of our young people so that they can become successful in their adult lives and be dynamic community leaders. Our students are leaders in exemplifying our college motto of “Love, Serve and Hope” and are offered leadership opportunities both in school and the wider community to be makers of change.

We are extremely proud of our strong connection with our local community and have many partnerships with social outreach programs. Students are offered participation in a range of social justice initiatives such as disability awareness campaigns, fundraisers for Papua New Guinea and volunteering for the Vinnies Van and Youth off the Streets. These experiences give students an insight into the needs of our local and global communities. This allows students to foster a sense of pride and respect for themselves and others.

Our students reflect our atrician heritage and our College commitment to preserving our long tradition of hospitality. A community service element is also built into our school award system, with students being recognised for their efforts to help others. Delany students develop a deep empathy with these communities and a genuine desire to be of service, encouraged to make a positive difference to the world.
