Mount St Benedict College – It’s All About The Balance

Mount St Benedict College believes that girls learn best when they have a strong sense of belonging, and feel valued, respected and known. The College is committed to ensuring that all students are deeply engaged with their learning and intentionally builds a culture where wellbeing and academic growth are interwoven.

In recent years, the College has developed and embedded the Wellbeing and Learning Model and Learning Experience, innovations which bring together Positive Education, neuroscience, and Benedictine values to shape both classroom practice and whole-school culture.

With a focus on holistic education, the College offers a range of opportunities including music, debating, sports, dance, domestic and international learning tours and a biennial College Musical. The Residential Experience program provides a camp or retreat for every year group. Each House supports a Good Sams Foundation partner providing meaningful service experiences alongside additional Mission opportunities with St Vincent de Paul, House of Welcome, and other community partners.

These initiatives ensure that girls at Bennies not only achieve excellent academic outcomes but also develop the resilience, purpose, and confidence to flourish beyond the classroom – because it’s all about balance.
