Casimir Catholic College – It’s All About The Balance

CASIMIR CATHOLIC COLLEGE is a Year 7-12 co-educational College which was established in 1983 from the amalgamation of De La Salle College and St Brigid’s College, both of which had been landmark schools in the Marrickville area dating back to the 1930s. Our College continues this rich tradition, shaped by the values of the Good Samaritan Sisters, the De La Salle Brothers, and the Passionist Fathers. Today, we honour these foundations while embracing the evolving needs of students in a rapidly changing world, striking a balance between heritage and progress.

Faith. Learning. Wellbeing. These are the words that guide life at Casimir Catholic College. We are committed to nurturing students who balance confidence with humility, aspiration with resilience and personal growth with community responsibility. We encourage every student to recognise their potential, set meaningful goals and move forward with purpose, both within and beyond the school gates.

Grounded in the teachings of Christ, we foster an environment where every student is known, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential – academically, professionally, emotionally and socially. Our philosophy embraces the idea that a balanced education requires high standards paired with genuine care.

Our dedicated staff deliver a rigorous and engaging curriculum, challenging students to excel intellectually while integrating Catholic values across all learning areas. We emphasise critical thinking, creativity, and compassion, skills essential not only for study but for balanced, ethical participation in society.
