In 2025, Southern Cross Catholic College (SCCC) celebrates 30 years as the principal Catholic college on the Redcliffe Peninsula. The College is built on the foundations of seven primary and secondary Catholic schools which amalgamated in 1995 to form the College we know today.

In the years since amalgamation, our alumni have gone on to ensure the College’s name has been held in the highest regard enabling the SCCC banner to fly high in the areas of academia, culture, mission, sport and social justice.

Our alumni have gone on to succeed in every imaginable career from law, finance education, science, medicine, to music and entertainment, as well as athletes who have represented their sport at the highest level along with Olympic champions. A Southern Cross Catholic College education aims to empower our learners to shape, change and enrich our world. Each graduate who walks through the College gates upon graduation has been provided a holistic education where their strengths have been nurtured and they have been encouraged to be the best versions of themselves, wherever they land in life.
