Mercy Regional College, Camperdown VIC – Champions of Change
At Mercy Regional College, we work to help all students develop skills and knowledge to reach their potential and prepare them for the ever-changing world we live in. Adaptability, creativity pro-activity, and self-motivation are some of the qualities we are striving to equip our students with.
Mercy Regional College has a strong focus on developing students’ technical skills by using the most effective and engaging digital technologies and online platforms to support the learning process. During the period of Remote Learning, the College successfully embraced a number of new technologies to continue offering quality education to our students and to support their wellbeing. We ensured that our College community was involved in the events and celebrations via live streams, video recordings and social media.
We actively strive to ensure that the College programs are equipping our young people to thrive both in the present and the future. Our Pathways Programs aim to provide students with the skills, knowledge and attitudes to make informed choices about pathways leading to work and further education. Our graduates are known for prominent academic, vocational and trades achievements.
Our Year 7 and 8 students are engaged in innovative learning experiences with STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Maths). They work towards becoming young people who take thoughtful risks, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration and work through the creative process. While engaging in experiential learning, our students find out about the world and prepare themselves for the challenges of the future.
