Catholic Leadership Centre, 576 Victoria Parade Street, East Melbourne.
Snapper Tank Description
In the tradition of ‘Shark Tank’, all Catholic Primary Schools via Year 4 / 5 students are invited to make a pitch for a unique idea of innovation for their primary school. This could be robotics, water, solar, environment, ergonomics, literacy, mathematics etc. – something both students and staff would love for their school. Each school will have just 5 mins on stage to present, with the winning schools (1st, 2nd & 3rd) in the running to win $10,000+ worth of prizes to help their dream come to fruition.
Examples / Ideas
Think of something you would love or a great idea for your school. You need to draw a connection to STEAM. Ideas include robotics, solar, water, environment, health, safety – make your concept fun, innovative and a little daring! The idea should at least be achievable. (ie don’t ask for your grade 5 class to go to the Space Station, we can’t do that)
