About our school

Clairvaux MacKillop College is a wonderful learning institution.A deep sense of community spirit flavours the very strong relationships we build with our students, parents, caregivers, and the broader community. Our students truly belong here and are proud of their College and their achievements. Generous hospitality and welcome are hallmarks of our thriving learning community. As a large, co-educational, Catholic secondary College, for students in years 7 to 12, we have a great deal to offer our students and their families. Rich learning occurs in our classrooms with a sharp focus on the development of deep- thinking skills within the curriculum.

Our curriculum is challenging and expansive with a multitude of subjects and VET options. The College’s brilliant co-curricular opportunities in Sport (SECA sports, district, regional, national), Arts and Culture (music, dance, and drama) and STEM (robotics, space technology) enrich our students’ lives. Our students are challenged to be their best, to stretch and grow in all areas of College life, to explore many possibilities and truly ‘find their greatness’. Centrally located at Upper Mt Gravatt, the College campus boasts a state-of-the-art auditorium and learning centre, sporting fields, sports courts, dance studio, music/ recording studios and technology centre.
